I'll start out by saying yes I've searched and couldn't really find much.

I'm in the market for a creeper seat and the tailbone looks very appealing. I like its large seat and its 12in seat height. I work on semi trailers and thay extra 2-3 inches would be nice when doing electrical/work on the underside if the trailer as far as head clearance goes. Does anyone out there have any experience with this stool?

I looked at and almost bought one. They seem very well made and the one I sat on was very comfortable.

I instead built a similar seat of my own out of some square tube I had, a tractor seat and casters. It was a much more sturdy and complicated design than necessary but I need all the fab/welding practice I can get.

I love mine but I think the tail bone would be a better seat as it is lighter and likely easier to roll on dirty and/or uneven floors.

I don't have a picture of it finished but you can see in the second picture that I made a coffee can holder on the front leg.

I had actually come across your thread while researching and i wish I had the tools and ability to make something like that but my fab skills aren't very good ;)
