I have a set of the newer Taiwan made Kobalt wrenches. I have been pleased with them. I am curious if they have some sort of off-corner engagement? I am not sure if I have ever used a wrench with off-corner engagement so I do not know how to tell the difference. Just curious.

Pretty much all wrenches made in the past 30 years have the flank drive off corner grabbing because snap ons patent has long been expired.

Thanks. I guess the same goes for any sockets made in the last 30 or so years?

I don't know If every wrench has that yet, if they do- the tolerances In which they're made effects it. My Cman RPs don't grab nearly as well as my SuperCombos.
