It says pair of extentions..... so I would venture to guess it should be a pair. Take a picture of the ad for your own evidence just in case you have to take it further than the seller.

Response from the seller

That’s totally my bad, I don’t know a lot about the tools so I would look up other auctions and if I would find one that was exact then I would just use that description. Well with yours I did not read it very well and did not see that it said pair. How much of a refund is fair, I have no idea what those are even worth. I guess what I am asking is what will it take to make you happy. Sorry for the inconvience.

I told her 7.50 or 1/2 of the selling amount

Fair is fair, equal split is perfect even though you had to pay the posted shipping to ship only one when you thought you were paying that expense to receive 2. (I always add the cost of shipping to my total high bid amount) We're not talking big money here so I agree your meeting him in the middle is fair. His response seems honest and sincere too so that goes a long way.

I agree - Fair is Fair. I you really believe that - then send the seller another $10.00, and be very happy that you bought a SO 15" Wobble Extension in 1/2" drive - for just $25.00 plus really cheap shipping charge.

On the other hand - if you believe that "a deal is a deal", and you believe it was an honest mistake by the seller - have him refund your money, plus an additional $8.95 to ship it back to him. He can re-list it and provide a correct and honest description - - then everyone can bid on it again.

Or simply ask the seller to find some other tool that you want - and then sell it directly to you at his cost plus shipping... call it a return favor...

Otherwise - let it go - and be happy with a purchase price of $14.95 plus shipping. Personally I wouldn't waist my time worrying about fifteen bucks...

but that's just me...
FWIW,
Carl B.

I paid 15.00 their asking price for a "pair" of extensions or 7.50 each plus shipping, I got one, so either the seller should send me another extension or 1/2 the purchase price why would I send the seller another 10.00? because the they did their research and decided a price and I agreed to that price?

perhaps the seller would send me the other 4 extensions after I send the 10.00

I agree, she made an honest mistake and you still got a hell of a deal, an 11" sells for $50................ $7.50 is cheap Karma.
