taking apart a TMK739

It seems this must have been covered here before, but I can't find it -- how do you take apart a SO TMK739 ratchet? The one I just got looks like it should have a split retaining ring, but doesn't seem to actually have one.

Use a small pick and remove the clip.
You have to hook it on the end of the clip and pull it out of the groove a little bit.
Once you get the pick behind the end of the clip you work it all the way around tll the clip is completely out of the groove.
The clip is very thin and it overlaps on the end.

Is the clip reusable, or does it deform when it is removed?

It is reusable , just take it easy on it and don't bend it up.
Only pull it out far enough to get behind it to work it out of the groove.

Does anybody know if the internals of a newer round head 72 teeth would fit this older TMK739?
Looking to do a 36 to 72 teeth conversion,
The outside of the head looks identical to my THNF72
