I recently filled my old cornwell box. I've thought about just adding attachments like a side box but after thinking about it I don't like the drawer configuration on it. I don't think I should spend any money to upgrade a box I don't like. Earlier this week I talked to my matco and snap on guy and they both gave me offers but I'm pretty indecisive when it comes to big decisions so I'd like to here what you guys think.

Matcos offer was a 72" 4s toolbox in whatever colors I wanted and he'd throw in a power drawer for $4500.

Snap-ons offer was a gray KTL1023 and they would give me $1000 of credit for whatever I want on the truck but their offer was $5500.

A few of my coworkers told me I should just buy a craftsman/harbor freight 72" box. I've considered it but if I could get a very good deal on a truck box I'd prefer that instead. Do you guys think either of the trucks offers was a good deal? Which offer would you take?

I would want a stainless top on that grey 1023
snapon better deal but I would push for better than he offering, 1,000bucks credit don't buy much from snappy and they massively discount boxes if haggle hard enough .
If want spend less look at Homak RS Pro from napa, serious pro use best skipping current HF due to junky plastic drawer latch.
Masterforce 24" or international do some half decent boxes.
Have a look at some and see what think of layouts and decide exactly how much you want spend and what quality you want/need .
I been in auto trade 30yrs and own 2 matco 7525s and end cabinets bought used for little under 2k the pair (needed refinishing external paint) . Had used snapon before that.
Never bought a box for myself new and made money on used boxes I sold on .
I'd be hard pushed want spend 4k plus on a tool box . Snappy would hold value best and is pretty big box and decent layout .
