LONG, LONG time lurker here, recent member.
SAAB/Audi/BMW/Mini Tech at a busy Indy. SAAB's for life, Audi/BMW/Mini out of fear of the end of SAAB.
I have been shopping boxes and finally have the money. Almost placed an order Sunday night, almost again today.
I was talked out of a 56" sized box by an experienced tech at my work. He thinks for the difference I should just go 72". Space in the shop is not a concern, so I am starting to concur. Room to grow? Absolutely.
I have heard nothing but praise for Shannon Aka Global72 and www.strictlytoolboxes.com. Thinking about those boxes. I cannot have a red or black box at my work as our crash carts and shop boxes or red/black (silly, I know)
Can anyone offer me advice? I would love to wait for a great deal, as I know STB has supported GJ and vice versa. Is there any new deals coming out? I think the current 56" combo is a GREAT deal, but unfortunately I must have a cab with a workspace on top.
Looking for encouragement! This is my 2nd career and still hesitant to invest too much, but all the same would love to show my commitment and give myself a strong and organized foundation to build on.
56" vs 72"?
