I am llloking for a tall storage cabinet with double doors and interior shelves. I have priced them at Lowes, Home Depot and Sears and all seem to be in the $300 to $400 range. Any recommendations?

Do you have any office equipment surplus stores around you? They often have tal metal cabinets for nice prices.

My wife works for Goodyear and they are moving into a new headquarters building. They sold off a bunch of old furniture and we bought seven medium height cabinets for $20 each. The tall ones were sold before we could get to them. If they sell more, I'll try to get more.

I'd definitely look at used office equipment stores. Should be way cheaper than the new box store stuff.

I picked up the kolbalt jumbo cabinet from lowes and have been very pleased with it. It was super easy to put together with all the screws in place you just lock the panel in and tighten the screw. The doors are my only complaint with them being held on with just a spring pin that pop in the hole, but I have no plans of hanging things on the doors so it does not bother me. My father helped me put it together and liked it way more than the Saville cabinet he got at Sams.

X2...office furniture stores/warehouses usually have plenty of used cabinets. Around here yo can get the 18"x36"x72" tall cabs with 4-5 shelves in the $75 range....used.
