Tall portable toolboxes?

So I recently started working at this little shop, sort of a shared workspace / school situation -- only private storage I have is a school locker. So far I've built up a dangerous stack of cardboard boxes with tools I only use there (mostly use their welders and lathe/mill - so tips, cutters, some files, straight edges) but I'm starting to bring more stuff there (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, punches) and need a way to organize it.

Long story short - I need something that'll fit in the locker - 10" wide, 14" deep, many tall. Any ideas or plans? Wouldn't mind building something but fear it may become a forever project and invalidated should I move.

Thanks!

Find some stack-able plastic tubs that are 10X14 or so and put the heavy stuff in the bottom tubs. If you need something down low, the light ones can be lifted out several at a time

If they all get heavy, then makeup "shelves" out of appropriate plywood (1"4"? certainly no more than 3/8") and use 1X 10's in the back to support the shelves and 1X 1's in the front corners. Tack glue them in so you can pop them loose/out later.

Space the shelves to maybe two tubs tall so you can deal with it easily.

Well, until I get around to making one of those riveted aircraft aluminum boxes, the bins sound like a winner. Good idea! Thanks.
