Would like to find something similar to the above that will fit in my 8' tall garage.
I'd use it to store all those little tool boxes I have.
You know the ones. Little reddish orange colored boxes that your various tools arrive in.

Although my example below clearly does not believe in red as a color.

I don't like the idea of gym locker where I need a key for each locker.
How annoying would that get!
I had a set of lockers my wife found on facebook marketplace. They came from some school or church, or church with a school in it or something. The lockers didn't have locks on every door. Just a loop where you could put a lock if you wanted to.

I was kinda hoping to find a locker with one key that controls everything.
Lord of the Rings style.
Sorry, I assumed it was assumed.

I found some at a garage sale twenty some years ago that have doors that are shaped like airfoils. Someone told me they were probably from a 1960’s bowling alley but I think it was a school. They have two 1/4”- 3/8” deep round dimples on each locker’s bottom panel, one like basketball size and one baseball size. They make it a PITA to stand things like tall skinny paint cans in them. They need some panels cut to cover them but that’s low on the to do list. They’re 21” deep, 6’ tall with each locker 15W X 14 T.

I also want to scuff them up and get them more rusted looking. That greenish blue is not what I’m going for in the end. Still need to come up with a pull/latch of some kind.

I've seen lockers of all types on Govdeals. You never know what you are going to find there.

Locks can be had at any lock shop if you want a single key. Maybe even Ebay for a set or asking here in the Wanted Section. Heck, I think I might have a set like pictured above from a Govdeals purchase.

You may want to consider a 5 drawer tall file cabinet. That would be really good for kits. A 4 drawer lateral file cabinet would be better if you have the wall space.

How about a single full height locker? It would have one door, and then you could build some simple shelves inside.

They often turn up on Craigslist, or you can buy them new for around $150: https://www.schoollockers.com/milit...r-wall-lockers/single-tier-school-locker.html

That would be pretty great. The interior is big enough to fit my largest box of 13" x 9".
And the cabinet is narrow enough to fit my space requirements.

Shipping was quoted at $290 though.
My Craigslist doesn't have anything similar for good prices but I'll have to keep checking.

Tks for the keywords to search

Yup, a great option for someone not looking for thin!

I'm not sure why the lateral file cabinet got dismissed so quickly. They are huge, cheap, and built like tanks, and if that description reminds some of you of a girl you dated in high school, well, I'm sorry.

I bought 2 of these from a company that supplies coveralls. $5 each.I put matching locks on both and open one small door with the combo where I keep the key for both doors. I laugh when people ask if I can remember all the combinations.
