I have went through all the threads on tap and dies on this site and have learned a lot. My question is what is the difference between the newer Little Giant Jr. Tap & Die Set #3312 sets and the older Greenfield Little Giant #312 Tap & Die set-1/4"thru 1"set that seem to have a die for every size? I would like to buy a good quality set of. I believe the #312 set is better but I'm a little lacking on the reason why. Anyway I would like some guidance on what to look for in a tap and die set so I can make a more informed decision.
