Looking for something like the Klein triple tap screwdriver but not with a COO of China.

Anyone know if anyone else is making a similar tool or does Klein have a patent on it?

I looked at one at Menard's the other day, in their house brand, Masterforce. It's a 6-in-1, three sizes on each side of a reversible shaft. didn't look to see where it came from, but most of their stuff is China these days.

You’re making me feel old now. I’ve have and still have one of those in my tool bag for 25 years.

Work as an electrician at times and hate the Klein triple tap. Actually believe I have a triple tap that’s about 35 years old and assume it’s made in America. Got it when I was in votech high school

My older Klein is USA:

The 32517 Multi-bit Screwdriver/Tap Tool is Taiwan unless it has changed. The tap bit is available individually: 32518.

The Klein and GB are made for electricians and are known as triple taps, due to the fact that they are sized for 6-32, 8-32 and 10-24, all common sizes in electrical work. Mine is mainly used to restore threads on metal electrical boxes or tap them one size larger if the hole gets stripped out beyond repair.

Not a fan of multi function tools in general, if one portion is bad the whole tool needs to be replaced or another tool added to compensate. These DO save room on your pouch.
