I thought I would share a shelf I made to hold rolls of tape from of a piece of 6” PVC. After cutting it in half I heated up one edge then clamped it with a 2” L angle to flatten one edge, making it easier to screw to the inside of the cabinet. Then using 3” PVC pipe cut in half for the electrical tape. I used 1/2” PVC board to make ends that glue on with PVC clear glue. (The PVC board is great stuff to replace plywood in upholstery for boats or anything that would get wet) Just need to pull it off and paint it black like the larger tape holder I made. I’m thinking this will also work good for my rolls of sandpaper.

You must have just posted this on a Facebook group too. Workshop Organization or Workshop Tips and Tricks or I am having the most vivid deja vu.

Anyways, looks awesome. I need to do something like this. I currently have all my tape rolls taking up an entire drawer in my tool box.

Thank you for sharing that. I'm in the middle of re-thinking my hardware and tape organization - this might be just the solution I need.

Great idea!
WAY better than this!
I currently put all of my tape on 3 of these on a pegboard wall. Imagine how messy it is and disorganized and hard to access. Thanks!

Same here. Size matters not to this tool, lol.

Keepat - Your idea will work excellent with my rain gutter spray can storage which I also have screwed to the doors of my cabinets.

Thanks for posting the pics of how you did it. I have masking tape and assorted other types including large fainter roles of duct tape so what did you use for the black one you made? ABS? Looks like maybe 6” diameter.
