Using this for the millionth time today, it occurred to me that someone else might like the idea.

I've had a few bags and belts with the tape holders like the one pictured on the bag below.

The metal ones last, but the ends tear into the bag. I tried the plasti dip, but it didn't stay on too long. The nylon ones wore way faster then the metal. I always have 3 rolls on them, but that doesn't seem excessive to me.

My recent solution that has been fine for a few years now- just using an oversized carabiner. The tape slides right off and doesn't get caught on anything or wear holes in the bag.

I know this isn't really a genius idea, but I thought I'd share on the chance someone else digs it.

I like the idea.

However I echo the previous complaints; there are so few places to see women in various amounts of clothing on the internet.

X2, hoping it involved clear packing or cellophane.......

No, you weren't hoping for that.

Reminds me of the joke ending with the psychiatrist telling his patient wrapped in cellophane, "I can clearly see your nuts."

The biner is not a bad idea. I don't need as easy tape access as most, so I'll unclip the bag's shoulder strap, and thread it through a few rolls.

I always have just made a small bar with a loop in the middle on a length of chain. Never been a problem for me. Alot of tool bags come with them already on them. I added one to alot of mine, usually just poke a hole, use a pop rivet and washer to sandwich the bag and chain together.

to prevent chaffing the bag with the end of the metal bar, get a vacuum port cap for a carb and super glue one on each end of the bat part.

I see the carabiners used for tape in the movie industry, the film crew uses them for lots of different things. Often they mark an X where they want the actor to walk to and deliver lines. With the camera angles they don't show in the film.
