I found this 1/2 inch universal today. I don’t recognize the tapered style bottom.
It looks very well made, but alas, no manufacturer name.
It is stamped what appears to be the number “3217”. Finish is pretty warn.
Any help would be appreciated.

^ I was looking at a 5-piece wrench set a couple hours ago. Ordered individually, the smallest size sold for $ .07 (seven cents) per unit - minimum quantity 100 pieces.
I have to assume those are the factory net prices (and unless I'm mistaken, most stuff was shipped FOB back then.)
Ever since seeing this thread, I've meant to take a picture of this unusual
u-joint. I imagine that it is an even earlier unmarked Indestro or Duro. I've kept it around because I like unusual tools.
