Just finished cleaning up this nice 36" Taylor bar-clamp. Its jaw depth is 4", total length of 41" and comes in at whopping 10 lbs. It sits very nicely on end as all bar-clamps should.

Interesting, James L Taylor Mfg is still in business and still making clamps, albeit much fancier. It's nice to see how companies adapt they're product lines over time... and survive.

On another note is there a thread for Show-Us-Your-Clamps or SUYC? I looked and didn't find it.

I'm really starting to appreciate bar-clamps. At first I just lumped them in with pipe-clamps, but bar-clamps at least the vintage ones are certainly nicer.
