Hi,
I am looking at a sapphire blue Mac Tech 1000 toolbox - 3 pcs. in like new condition
Top: MB 1010A-BL / Bottom: MB 1000A-BL / Side Piece: MB 1067-BL
Can someone please tell me what this whole system is worth? They are asking $4,000 or BO which seems high as I am sure this is a few years old now.
Thanks, Steve

Prices can vary pretty widely depending on location. Location (general area, city, or whatever) might help.
In a major metro that asking price seems appropriate, but you never see the actual sale price and often can be very negotiable.

Why don’t you offer what it’s worth to you and see what they say. You never know until you ask.

See if you can find what it cost new, then offer about 40-50% off that. Tool boxes lose that initial new value but after that they hold that value. As an example I bought my first good used Snap on bottom box back in 1993, I upgraded to a larger one. I bought that original one for 1700.00 and sold it 12 years later for 1400.00. New it was about 3200.00.

Tool Boxes and cars deprecate immediately after purchase.

Offer what you think it’s worth to you, if the seller is willing to take that, you have a deal.
