Why do you think that the HF torque wrenches junk and this one is fine?

It's exactly the same tool, perhaps with the minor difference of the black handle finish. (My guess is that the handle on the shipped part might be exactly the same as what HF is selling.)

I've bought over a dozen HF torque wrenches over the years, and all have been solid tools. I've typically paid $10, although I do remembering paying more for 1/4" size back when they weren't included on the $10 coupon.
