Who knows?
Hmmm... Makes me wonder if the quality of the extra long hex (sae and metric) and torx bit-sockets are fairly good. All three sets qualify.

The do have their USA-made pliers included in the sale(slip-joint and groove joint). They also have the 30-piece hex key set, though not made in the USA, it's still a very good set.

The cheap discount store within walking distance to my house sells TONS of Tekton stuff, as well as Chinese Allen brand stuff.

I always figured it was HF quality stuff, so I never really bothered with it. I'll have to take a peek and see if they have the USA pliers.

Meanwhile, if anyone needs something specific from Tekton, let me know and I can check if the store has it. They have tons of single sockets also if you're missing certain sizes.

Tekton is definitely better than the average HF stuff. Their USA screwdrivers(not in the sale) look odd but are good quality, needs a bit more finishing(sharp edges) but still very good for the money. The USA pliers I'd put up against Channellocks, no problem.

Their other non-USA tools are less like HF/Chinese Craftsman and more like Taiwan quality, of the tools I've seen/owned/used. The hex key set has a very nice case, is well labeled and the bevel on the end is done very well. It could pass for a USA tool set(Not modern Snap-on but an older USA-made set)...some of their other stuff like ratchets may vary, but I've heard good things. Real tool reviews on youtube did a review and he said they were very good quality.

Thanks OP, used this to get my future son & law a TEKTON 13101 3/8-Inch Drive Socket Set, Inch/Metric, 45-Piece and an oil filter wrench.
I have purchased a fair amount of Tekton tools for myself and have been very satisfied. I thought this would be a great starter set for him.
