I was looking at a 3/4 drive, 40" Tekton breaker bar on the bay today.

Obviously it was made offshore. So I emailed Tekton and asked where their breaker bars were made and I got the reply, Taiwan. Anybody know if this is true? I will not knowingly buy Chinese ****, and I may just buy a 20-24" used Williams or older 3/4 " breaker bar on the bay and use a cheater.

One of the things I need to use this on is to break loose the 1 & 7/16th nuts that hold the cutters on my bush hog when I sharpen the cutters. Last time I did that I used my old Proto 3/4 ratchet and a 30" cheater bar, but I REALLY hate to put the nice old ratchet under that much torque.

Any other suggestions for a 3/4 breaker bar cheerfully accepted.

Well worth the money. my 3/4 x 40'' breaker bar has saved the day more than once. Tekton makes some good tools. the impact sockets I have are holding up great.

Just picked up a HF 19", 3/4" breaker bar yesterday.

Made in Taiwan.

$17.59 with a 20% off coupon. Did what I needed it to do using a floor jack handle as a "cheater bar" to break loose a crank bolt that had to be torqued to well over 400#s.
