Nice set there, didn't know about them. Man, I have to say the types of these wrenches is getting out of hands. I have two drawers full of them; std combo, ratcheting, offset, stubby, long, flare nut, crowfoot and probably a couple of more types. Then x2 for SAE and now angled! lol

Nice She is supportive, unlike the woman I went with, all they knew how to do was bust my stones for buying tools.
Merry Christmas. and to all.

I hear you, i work on all of our vehicles and yet every time a new tool shows up to the door to make my life easier i get an ear full of it.

That’s too bad. SWMBO here is fine with tools showing up. Increased capacity for home repairs is cheaper than having someone else do the job. So if I buy $100 tools to do $1000 repairs, that’s a win for us.

Somebody in Michigan. I'm not sure anyone has figured it out yet. Great wrenches for a good price.

are they 60 or 75 degrees? If they are 75 degrees, I'd like a part number! Didn't seem to find them on amazon

Home Depot is often cheaper, too. They will ship to store for free and deliver to home free if over $45. But Tekton is not charging sales tax if you are not in Michigan.
Do you know where your wife bought them? They are not on Amazon yet. I know you can get them directly from Tekton, but Amazon is usually cheaper.

I hope she is young and you two are newly married. I think most wives begin to understand after awhile if they want something done on the house or a car needs fixed. When you can do it yourself, the savings pay for the tools and essentially the tools have paid for themselves.

Now that it's free shipping with an account and 5% rewards I think it makes sense to buy direct. Still a few more hours left to get 15% back. So basically buy a set of angle wrenches and get a free screwdriver set.

Reading some of these posts reinforces how lucky I am...the fiance hardly bats an eye when tools/guitars/classic cars show up at the house...hell...she doesn't know what else to buy me for birthdays and Christmas other than tools now haha...

As for these wrenches...I'm intrigued...gonna have to reorganize ALL of my tools in the coming weeks...sigh

I hope she gets it too.
The ones that were busting my stones, It was more for buying tools for my woodworking hobby.
Like one time I found a super nice Low Knob # 4 C Stanley plane for $7.00!!
at the flea market. Beautiful shape, still had part of the sticker on the tote.
Beautiful Bubinga or rose wood tote too.
"Don't you have one of those"?

I feel sorry for the guys that have non-understanding women. I couldn't put up with that ****. I work on all the cars and equipment here including hers. I think I'd have to start working on just my car, and tell her to take hers to the shop for service. My woman is amazing. She goes with me when I buy any tools or when I go on an equipment buying road trip. She even helps load and tie down. Never any complaints. I am a very lucky guy and very thankful. We actually have a fun time.

That's Great!
Guy came from Morgantown to the wheeling area when I was selling my restored Delta 6 X 48 sander.
Never balked on the price. Had his wife with him.
She was supportive of his hobbies too.
I commented on how nice that was.

Yep very lucky my wife loves that I work on the house and cars. She is an awesome woman. I feel bad for guys with wives that don’t get it.

The images from their website showing the less blind spots as compared to standard wrenches is quite something. Seems like they are currently out of stock. I’ll keep an eye out for these. I have way too many wrenches already though. 6 point, 12 point, ratcheting, stubby, flex head ratcheting, s shape, moon shape, long cross beam, way too many! Many duplicates too in my travel bag.

I guess I'll have to take a ride down to Meijer and see what they have on their racks.
Mrs.B & the daughter are off to spend more money. BTW, she's also supportive of tool acquisitions where appropriate.

Wife got me the big 1/4" drive and 3/8" drive sets for Christmas. Already putting them to work in the service van. Quality is fantastic. Better than i expected. Not a huge fan of the ratchets that come in the sets but I carry a couple different ratchets on the van as well. I'll definitely be buying more Tekton tools as I need them. And my wife understands that tools pay the bills and get things done around the house. Without them I would not have a job and be paying repair costs for everything that breaks. Fixed the dishwasher and AC so far since we bought the house. Saved a lot of money. Like I said I'll be buying more Tekton. As much as it pains me to buy tools from a Company in Michigan.

They should have just omitted the ratchets and lower the price about $5 as that's about all they're worth. The ratcheting mechanism is straight trash. Feels like gritty plastic and broken glass inside.

Thread kind of took off in a different direction but from the time the Mrs. and I first got married she understood that buying tools went along with doing projects on the house or keeping the vehicles running. She's as proud of my tools as I am because of how much money they have saved us over the years.

Those angle wrenches look awesome! I'm definitely going to purchase the whole line of metric ones. I have been looking at the snap on ones for a while now but couldn't bring myself to spend $800 on the set. I'm glad someone is finally making an affordable quality option to the snapon with the 30/60 angle. Now let's hope they start making them up to 2"!

Hyperbole much? It's the same 72 tooth Taiwan mechanism found in a huge number of ratchets. There are certainly smoother and more refined designs out there but your description is inaccurate.

They have already updated to a 90 tooth mechanism though which is excellent, especially for the price. They will be updating the sets with new ratchets and new socket design features soon.

Maybe I got a bad one but the 3/8 that came in the socket kit is atrocious. Constantly reversing or sticking in neutral with one handed operation. Not like I'm hitting the selector inadvertently. Juat listening to it ratchet sounds like winding up a pull back toy car. I'm not exaggerating. That's how bad mine is.

Please send [email protected] an email. He will fix you up. In fact they may warranty the old ones with the new design when they run out of stock.

The old ones did ship dry and benefit from a little lube after a break in (I like spinning them with a drill) but it shouldn’t feel any worse than Titan, Klutch, Pittsburgh, etc. They all use the exact same mechanism.

It's a shame, They just don't get it.

My wife didn't understand it for a while, but was supportive. After telling her how much money I saved by owning tools she's on board.

Me: I need a new floor jack, mine bit it after 20 years...
Her: How much?
M: Like $250?
H: Can't you take the car in for brakes?
M: Sure...$500 bucks.
H: Go get the jack...

Over and over again, until she just doesn't even ask. Especially after I saved $700 by doing valve cover gaskets on the Tacoma. Or all my suspension work...
