I started having a problem with the 7/8" lug nut socket from a Tekton set that I have. The socket distorted slightly and would not fit easily. I am a weekend warrior not a pro and do not use these sockets on a daily basis. I called Tekton and spoke to Dave who posts on GJ and after a quick call and an e mail with a picture of the socket he sent an entire new set (not just a 7/8" socket) and I received it today, on a Sunday, less than a week later.

I have had good luck with other Tekton tools and was very impressed with how this was handled. Thanks Dave!!

Not to be a Debbie Downer, that is awesome of him/them, but how long did you have the previous sockets and what style/brand tool did you use them with? (breaker bar or impact wrench) Odd to hear this happened to someone like you and not a heavy, daily pro user.

I have that set. Been using them daily for about 3 weeks now with no issues.

I haven't gotten a chance to meet up with my matco guy and exchange my cracked ones. So ordered them through prime

I had the set about two years and used it with a Milwaukee M18 Fuel Impact. I use the 7/8" socket on my Dakota which I torque to 100 Ft lbs. I use a Chrome socket on the torque wrench to tighten. I have used the other sizes on other cars with no problems so it may have been one bad socket. Dave from Tekton did ask if I was using the socket with a breaker bar or impact. He said that a breaker bar could create a problem with a thin wall lug nut socket vs. an impact wrench.

I don't have this set but do have multiple sets of tekton impact sockets and universal joints. in the two years I have been using them I have had zero issues. I went with tekton due to their reputation of great customer service.

I would like to give a shout out to Dave at Tekton and thank him for his excellent and quick warranty service.
I contacted him Monday, today I had a new hammer in the mail.

Thanks again.

I've bought a bunch of their stuff...

Primarily during their $15.00 off $50.00 sale right before the first of the year on Amazon...

The tools work as advertised, and, so far, I haven't had to check out their customer service...

The 72 tooth ratchets, I've got ten of them, in various styles, are a dynamite socket driver, and the prices are right...

I've got some Tekton impacts that I use daily and they have held up real well. It's good to know that they'll take care of customers.

I wish they were sold in more places. I was driving through Michigan and there was a Family Farm store I believe it was called. They had a awesome selection of Tekton tools. If I was starting over and on a budget it would be pretty hard to beat them. I also have a Production tool supply store near me that has some Tekton. Most of it is older stock though.

Your post reminded me I had a broken 24mm flare wrench from tekton. I emailed them Sunday night and Dave responded on Monday and already has the replacement wrench in the mail for me. Excellent service!! In return I just bought a set of their double box flex ratcheting wrenches in sae and metric. Because, Well, you can't have enough tools, and with their customer service I feel confident I will be happy

I got a ton of angle wrenches for $40 and they aren't too terrible.

I got the metric and sae set. A few are not straight and some noticeable flaws but they have been extremely handy and have stood up to some hard use.
