Hi guys,

I recently got a stubby metric Tekton wrench set from Amazon. The set came with two 15mm's and no 16mm. So I emailed [email protected], got a respond from Dave the next day, and got my 16mm wrench within a week, with a couple cool stickers.

I think honest mistakes happen, but what's more important is how the company fixes them. In this case, it was fast and hassle free style. So just want to share my first experience with Tekton Customer Service!

I also had to make use of their customer support and warranty a defective automatic center punch. Promptly replied to the email, and a few days later a replacement showed up via fedex (I think it was fedex?).

Awesome customer service.

I had a similar experience with Orbit, who makes automatic timers for watering your yard, garden. The device went kaput. So I figured I'd email them and get rejected or ignored. But to my surprise, I received a message with an apology and they shipped a replacement.

It's so easy to take care of customers. And I'm a customer for life now.

I was looking for swivel head ratchets and thanks to the reviews here about the customer service I went with Tekton. I figure the company that takes care of it's customers is always going to have customers take care of them. Since these are swivel heads and not breaker bars I thought it was a good product to take a chance on and whala! they are excellent. Im never going to crank on them to break a rusted bolt on my dozer loose anyway and the swivel head and the gears all function perfectly. They will get a lot more of my business.

Not to take away from the thread but how do you like there stubbies?

I've got both sets, SAE & Metric, and the quality is fantastic, and when you factor in the price, they are outstanding.

The SAE set stupidly skips 13/16 AND 7/8. So stupid. Especially when you consider that the Metric is 10 piece and the SAE is 8 piece. Give me my two missing wrenches.....Or give me no skips up through 7/8 and eliminate the 15/16 and 1". Did I mention it's stupid?

I have both stubby wrench sets by Tekton and some impact socket sets. I'm glad to hear the company stands by it's products. Very very nice tools for the price.

I like them so far. The chrome is flawless. All the edges are smooth. They seem very well made. Haven't had a chance to use them yet, because I actually got them after I went through a job that required stubbies. The only thing I would say they could improve on is the size stamping, which could be sharper, or a little bigger.

I've had impact sockets and low profiles ratchets from them and those are all great. Tekton usually have promotions during holidays on Amazon, and that's when I got their stuff this past Father's Day for pretty good prices.

My first purchase from Tekton was an inch-lb torque wrench. It was way off cal when I got it. I called customer service and they verified how I was testing and sent me a new wrench priority mail. Had it within 48 hours. It was GREAT customer service. I dealt with Dave who is a forum member here.

Never had a complete set, before...:(

Well worth the money...

The way their Customer Service was explained---"If the tool breaks, email us a picture of the damage, and we'll FedEx you a replacement..."

For an internet company---

That's as good as it gets!!!
