The current version is rebranded Wilde. That doesn't mean that every one you see falls in that category. They've sold a lot of tools over the years and as far as I know only the current version applies.

Wilde makes their tongue n' groove pliers, and slip joint pliers. You can find the Wilde versions at HJE and other places, but Tekton's warranty might be easier to deal with.

We used to have Tekton at our local grocery store chain. They had amazing deals pretty regularly… then they switched over to Stanley…

I bought the slip joints there for not much.
