Not a whole lot. I haven't looked in forever, but they used to carry ChannelLock. Really I just get motor oil and maybe a $1 USA made funnel usually.what other quality stuff is obtainable from walmart tool wise ?
The Wilde rebrands with striking caps? That’s new.Tekton pry bars don't really hold up and are way too springy. Mayhew really is the only way to go for quality/price.

I would have brought the $12.00 36" pry bar at Walmarts, if I had known.Just a heads up, the 36" bar is like $12 online. I recently bought the whole set for like $31. Hard to beat.
When it came to prying endbells off of motors coming in from either chemical treatment plants where endbells get corroded to the stator frame, or having open drip motors come in from hog processing plants where endbells get really stuck. Idk, even our big pullers are just way too small for the bigger motors and the horizontal hydraulic press isn't worth setting up/configuring. Tekton's pry bars would just bend, and keep bending. Would borrow bigger and more expensive pry bars from coworkers for those specific jobs, but eventually bit the bullet and bought 2 sets of Mayhew's and they are far less bendy and actually pry well. The pry bar tip, blade, portion also seem to hold up better on the Mayhews. I used Tekton's for a bit over a year and the tips were chewed up like crazy, Mayhews have had far more abuse and are still holding up well.
Both guaranteed..... I have tied snap on bars in to pretzels the mining industry is hard on everything for big bars 5-6 foot we get them from McMaster Carr now I'm intrigued to what brand they areTekton pry bars don't really hold up and are way too springy. Really? I have quite a few Snap On pry bars and I don't have a bad thing to say about them. I even have the 42" and it has done way more than I expected. They have definitely seen some serious abuse. Both guaranteed..... I don't find that to be the case, but I am not a hard user.Tekton pry bars don't really hold up and are way too springy. Mayhew really is the only way to go for quality/price.
Me too. I'm opposite of that guy. My Mayhew bars are too springy. My so ones are great.Really? I have quite a few Snap On pry bars and I don't have a bad thing to say about them. I even have the 42" and it has done way more than I expected. They have definitely seen some serious abuse.
This is was my thought as well. I liked my Mayhew bars and they did everything asked of them but had more spring/flex than I liked so I upgraded to the SO bars.Me too. I'm opposite of that guy. My Mayhew bars are too springy. My so ones are great.
