Not a whole lot. I haven't looked in forever, but they used to carry ChannelLock. Really I just get motor oil and maybe a $1 USA made funnel usually.

I have the Wilde/Hyper Tough pry bar and some other Wilde made rebrands under Craftsman, Lang, Tekton. I might have to pick up another Hyper Tough though. Mine is the old color.

When it came to prying endbells off of motors coming in from either chemical treatment plants where endbells get corroded to the stator frame, or having open drip motors come in from hog processing plants where endbells get really stuck. Idk, even our big pullers are just way too small for the bigger motors and the horizontal hydraulic press isn't worth setting up/configuring. Tekton's pry bars would just bend, and keep bending. Would borrow bigger and more expensive pry bars from coworkers for those specific jobs, but eventually bit the bullet and bought 2 sets of Mayhew's and they are far less bendy and actually pry well. The pry bar tip, blade, portion also seem to hold up better on the Mayhews. I used Tekton's for a bit over a year and the tips were chewed up like crazy, Mayhews have had far more abuse and are still holding up well.

Considering the 36" Mayhew is literally 5x the price of the Wilde I would expect it to be heavier duty. That doesn't mean the Wilde bars aren't worth the money.

Both guaranteed..... I have tied snap on bars in to pretzels the mining industry is hard on everything for big bars 5-6 foot we get them from McMaster Carr now I'm intrigued to what brand they are
Really? I have quite a few Snap On pry bars and I don't have a bad thing to say about them. I even have the 42" and it has done way more than I expected. They have definitely seen some serious abuse.

Me too. I'm opposite of that guy. My Mayhew bars are too springy. My so ones are great.

"springy" is a function of the cross-sectional area and length, assuming both are steel; the alloy is irrelevant. So, if the length is the same between Mayhew and SO, what are the cross-sectional dimensions of the bar for each?

I'm sure the Tekton and Mayhew bars are fine for most applications. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this has degenerated to a "How stiff my bar is" competition. #thingsthathappenonGarageJournal

Snapon and Mayhew for us, obviously if you need HD you gotta look at the catalog and pick the thicker bars.
