I just realized you can easily remove some steel hinge pins and your Tekton Ratchet set Case becomes a nicely separated storage unit for a toolbox. Even better the Metric is in one half and the SAE is in the other.

Bravo Tekton, I'm impressed.

The gear wrench boxes do the something, and its nice if you like to keep things in your tool box

I've seen both and the Gearwrench case is definitely more "flimsy". I was really impressed with the Tekton socket set case. My first thought when I saw it was that other manufacturers could learn a lesson from Tekton in this regard...

That's how I keep my Gearwrench. I wouldn't say flimsy, but I'll agree it's not the same molded plastic as SK or Sunex cases. Not sure how Tektons feel.
