i have the HF version.. im not a mechanic, dont use these very often - but they are nice.. i have many of the HF ratchets.. at the price they go for, its worth having a bunch IMO just for the versatilty they offer.

I got a composite handle ratchet at HF, eight bucks US and it is my go to (medium duty) tool, nice action and very nice feel on the hand, good in the cold, seems durable. (I have been a millwright for 45 years). I needed a dedicated socket for my mill drill quill and bought this as a low cost piece. No regrets at all.

Never mind the Tekton swivel ratchets. They are incorrectly cataloged. Too good to be true. Nice work Sears!

They are the same Made in Taiwan ones that HF rebrand. It's got to be the only HF ratchets for which I don't have any complaints. The Gearwrench ones are different. I don't see any quick release in the photos.
