1st set SAE and metric is available elsewhere for $81.00. NLA at Tekton.
SAE set is available for $43.00 at Tekton.
Metric set is available for $54.00 at Tekton.
Is there a difference?
Like the metric/SAE set is laser etched only and the other sets are stamped?
ETA: both sets appear to be stamped. Added pictures too!

They're all the same. All those sockets are made in Taiwan. If you can and need sockets buy their master 3/8 set for $180. Comes with every 3/8 socket you'll ever need along with a ratchet and breaker bar.

There were second sellers marketing older version Tekton sockets not too long ago. I bought a small set and rounded it out with current from their website. I can see differences but they work fine. They're 1/4" drive metric deep well six ponts. Not sure how you can screw that up too bad as long as the fitment and chrome are acceptable.

Point being......look at them closely. The outside seller ones may be old stock.

Thanks guys.
I do know some of the older Tekton impact sockets were laser etched only, and the newer Tekton impact sockets are stamped, or maybe stamped and laser etched too.
I don't care for laser etched only sockets, as they tend to wear off.

You mean these? Yeah. Can't say I'm too fond of the laser etching either. But for $25 a set they're worth it.

I have those too. Pretty sure I paid less than $25 ea. I've beat on them as hard as I will in my home garage and they're great.
