that looks extremely cheap and fragile. also, what is the point of this box? looks like you can't lock those drawers up, very few stacking options, and no actual Dolley with a handle. it's basically competing with a regular metal box, a plastic tool cart as they call it. I guess if you want foam inserts it fits the bill.

Compact. light weight and portable setup that will keep tools well organized. I can vision fanfare with apartment dwellers and maintenance personnel a who lack a garage or dedicated work area, need tools in a remote location, or have to use a stairway. Just bring the sections that are needed for a small task or have the entire set to the work site with a few extra manageable trips.

This style of portable tool system seems to be very popular here in Europe. I wonder how it will sell back in the US and if there is already competition.

At least they aren't trying to copy a pack-out box. I think there's a market for nice tools stored in a stacking box that doesn't take up a lot of room like a traditional metal box. It also doesn't require multiple purchases for different items - box, foam tools. I like it.

Products like this take a long time to develop, so I get why they're only getting there now, but my feeling is it's too late unless they're doing some really strong bundling or something like that.

I just had my hot water heater replaced, and the plumber had a really well-designed and executed Packout system integrated in his truck. I have zero interest in this kind of thing at this point - when I take tools on the road I have a tool roll and a small bag I carry.

It's ok as an all inclusive box. But not anything special for tool storage outside of tekton tools. This boxes are already offered In Europe(excluding the drawers) they aren't as popular, as they don't offer the versatility of let say Milwaukee pack out/DeWalt & Staley stack. I live in Europe, most people require the box to be mobile hence why I said they require a dolly and lockable drawers. Now don't get me wrong, it is ok as a stand alone tool box all inclusive that won't be moving too much. Or maybe a bolt/parts box. That's where I see this box shine.

I'm not sure if the world needs another stacking toolbox system but, the foam drawer sets with tools seem kind of cool. :headscrat

Not for me but, still glad to see new product being released.
Isn’t this like the 2nd oldest one (after Systainer)?

Are these Sortimo or a “compatible?”

I’ve been using Sortimo L-BOXX for years now (branded Gedore, Sortimo, Bosch). The system meets my uncomplicated needs just fine.

Indeed - I only read the Toolguyd post previously.

What’s interesting to me is they’re using the old style ones. That’s fine with me - the new lids aren’t really any more useful and the old ones might be a bit sturdier.

I like how Tekton thinks on a great number of products.

In this case (pun intended), they have a line with a huge amount of interchange, The pre-formed plastic tool liners to hold Bosch battery, charger, tool are way affordable, and foam opens up options galore.

Maybe they'll offer an LED lid box, black cases with red trim, and . . .

I hope this is a line that profits well for them.

Edit:
Added pics of Bosch L-BOXX 2 (136) with the Bosch tool inserts. (Not mine) These inserts will fit the Tekton stackable boxes listed.

Been looking for a drawered system to put in a service truck box since the doors/cabinets just seem to get smaller and smaller (can't fit a 26" top box in anymore). At $35 a drawer, I'll be taking measurements this week and hopefully these will be a fit.

Got the socket setup and an empty box with divider for the Jeep. Cases are nowhere near as tough as Packout stuff, but these will live under my Tuffy drawer in the TJ.
