this is what I hear too. There are a few posts on GJ regarding Tekton. The overall perception is they are a good value. I prefer Tekton over Craftsman and the big box store brands. I think they are better or equal quality at a lower price. Most of the stuff is made in Taiwan but a few things are made in the USA (pliers, screwdrivers..) and unfortunately some in China. They clearly list the COO on the Tekton website. I've purchased most of my Tekton items when they go on sale on Amazon. I haven't needed to warrantee a tool but everyone says Tekton has excellent customer service. Overall a great value if you are looking for good tools in the mid price range.

If I get something from Amazon, or e bay, Can I warranty right through Tekton?
I have a few of the Tekton extension sets, the seem very well made.
The chrome 3/8" drive, has the knurling too.
To be honest l have not used them yet.
Good Deal, thanks. You just warranty it through the site. I just listed the problem and uploaded a picture of the tool. Super simple process and they ship really fast without needing to send the old tool in. I found a retention ball and gone missing in one of my 3/8" extensions. I had bought it in a 3 set from Amazon. They sent me a whole new set of 3.
I will continue to stock my tool box with Tekton.
Price?I just got the 84 piece 1/2" drive socket set to keep in my truck. The case is awesome and the tools are decent. Happy with the purchase.
I emailed them today about an out of stock socket. Within an hour they got back to me. June 13. Customer service is on top of it.There are a few posts on GJ regarding Tekton. There is a very limited open stock at HF. They are big on sets for things like sockets. Even lowly Sears seems to have a better open stock selection. For combo wrenches Tekton wins hands down. For ratchets and sockets, it's a dead heat for quality, so I personally would buy Ratchets and sockets at Harbor Freight since they're cheaper than Tekton.
As for screwdrivers… The large set of US made Tekton screwdrivers is one of the best deals going in the tool world right now!
Yeah, that is one very annoying thing about HF. That and the skips in their sets. But quality wise, their sockets and ratchets are extremely good when you consider what you pay for them. There is a very limited open stock at HF. They are big on sets for things like sockets. good to know.Interesting this came up today. Just changed the brakes and rotors on the Altima and got some good use of my Tekton combo wrenches. They did really well and I beat on them with a hammer and a mini sledge for some really rusty calipers. The wrenches, while definitely worse for wear still grip the bolt the same with no noticeable spreading or slipping.
The Tekton combo wrenches are better than the Husky, Kobalt and HF that I've used in the past. No complaints from me.
Part #13203. Full set standard and metric shallow and deep no skips. $160ish. Birthday present from my wife

I have a few of the Tekton impact sockets. Good value and no skips were why I chose them. I would recommend them.
