Wow, great price, so what are the details, Pawn shop?
If new let us all know so we can also get one. Rich

A guy bought it new, but then decided he'd rather have a shop do the work so he never used it. It sat around a while then he decided to let it go.

Was that sarcastic? Almost certain this is a HF/China special.

Great torque wrench for the money. Think I payed 35 dollars, used it to do head bolts on my winter car.

I picked up the standard 1/2" one new for $30 at Meijer. Others might be able to as well, they ran a $10 off $30 or more in Tekton tools coupon the wifey found with their Mperks (like Shop Your Way) rewards she uses. Keep an eye out for those coupons if you have Meijer stores near you.

I have one of those. I got it on sale for $25 I think. It was on clearance at the local Family, Farm and Home. I think $45 was the normal price.

Great score.

The Tekton's ratcheting mechanism has an actual gear with teeth that the paul engages, the HF's mechanism is pretty much a cylinder with some smsll indentations the paul engages.
