No, No, NO, Nope!!! No Way!!! Making Tekton ratchets or wrenches in the USA would probably screw them up somehow. They're just fine being Taiwan made. If it's not broke, don't try to fix it. After finally receiving my new SK 90 tooth flex head ratchets yesterday, I couldn't help thinking that I wish Tekton made a 12-13 inch 3/8 drive flex head ratchet without the bent handle.:wtf:

You don't have to like, buy, or use Tekton if you don't want to but, please don't screw it up for me because, I like most of the Tekton line.

I don't know. Tekton seems to come up with ingenious designs on their USA made tools. Personally I'd like to see what their engineers could come up with on a ratchet.
But their existing ratchets are nice.

Tekton,
Since we know you’re reading this, how about adding retention detents in the remaining three sides of the drive square? The pin hole is great, but is limited.

I also noticed they have discontinued their old crowfoot wrench set. The link is still active, but hidden. This could mean the new ones will be available sooner than later.

You guys are funny.

no problem. glad i can give you a laugh. i clearly stated my reasons for not thinking it is a good idea and saw the attacks coming before i quit typing. that is why i rarely comment on tekton.

Works for me. I have a set of old bonneys but they are very thick and I need another set for the truck. I wonder if they will release crowsfoot in 3/8 drive.

fair enough. i get your opinion and i hope you get mine. funny how 2 guys can have a conversation without insulting the other.

i really looked over some tekton (mit) last week in 2 stores. i really don't get the appeal other than a few us made items, much of it not available in store. (the two stores i was at only had some screwdrivers). the rest of it is run of the mill import stuff. the same or similar to other brands. it just doesn't seem that special to me.

but again unless you agree with the masses you get personally attacked. i don't and won't hide how i feel about tekton/mit and can state it without attacking others but for some reason several people think it is ok to bash anyone who doesn't sing the tekton/mit praises.

Every aircraft mechanic on the planet uses crowsfoot wrenches.
Yeah I bought a cheap set years ago just to get by. I bought a Crescent branded set of 6 point flare nut wrenches a couple weeks ago. The regular crows feet dont fit for one of my common uses, or I would have added it to one of the two Tekton orders I made this month.

They seem to hold up very well, US or Taiwan made, great customer service and warranty, great engineering, large selection, local availability at Meijer.
