Tell me about this Vise

Can anybody tell me about this vise?
All I know is that it can open and hold up to 8 inches.

Actually that's a Parker, and depending on the jaw width, and condition (No cracks or other damage) worth the $$. (4" or better)

Yup, its a Parker and a decent sized one too boot. Those Parker combo vises are pretty top heavy/well built but seem to always have the most amount of damage to them from use.

Its like the vises would call out to the owners subconscious mind and say; "go ahead, see if you can hurt me"

That's a nice looking Parker!! You'd be crazy not to love having that bolted to your bench.
