I have used one similar to it. Its for large AWG wires. Like battery cable. You did pretty good at a buck. Hell I will give you $10 for it.

I used to have one of those many years ago. Just cleaned out the remains of that business ( was in storage) last year and was disappointed not to find it in there.
Great tool...ours cost a few decimal places more back in the day.

I have a similar style one, works very well on #2 sized lugs.
