Kerosene heaters can expel a residue so be careful. Stay in the temp range on the can.

Notgrownup. I live just down the road from you a bit, Topsail Island, and the humidity is my problem. Looking for a dehumidifier for this spring. Darn I am tired of waiting.

Remember the floor temperature. as soon as the coating touches the floor it takes on that temp. Be sure to measure that!

I think I will wake up real early and go like my propane heater and runa fan in there also...just to help a bit..not Kerosene though."..if I run a propane heater in here for about 8 hours that should help, the outside temp at lunch to 3 o'clock is gonna be over 55

in in Raleigh...laid down my epoxy (100% solids from epoxy master) last week...and put on a polyurethane top coat yesterday

I closed my garage door and turned on the heat before installing and while it was curing (not an issue for the epoxy because there are no fumes..but the polyurethane was pretty bad)
laid the poly down yesterday finishing around 2pm, this morning it is hard as a rock and ready to walk on.

it would probably be a good idea to test the temp of your slab with a ir thermometer to see where you're at.

Ok so I have a question for the experts ....I need to use the shop for storage can I store stuff on the etched floor until it warms up then just remove it from the shop to apply my clear, what about my little trailer and riding mower, can I put something down on the floor to protect that won't hurt the etch? It see it being about 2-3 months before I can coat it unless I get a nice stretch of warm days to warm the concrete up good..

Bought a bunch of 70x90 bath blankets and cover about half my floor, left the outer perimeter open so I can wire, Air pipe and insulate my walls while I am waiting for warmer weather...It's OK... By the way , my Acid etched stain looks good....
