Temp Roof Vent Plugs?

I think the garage will get too hot in the summer time, because the hot air cannot escape through all the roof vents

I am not sure I want to permanently cap off/plug all the vents

In an Indiana climate I’d look into a legitimate exhaust system :dunno: Simple ridge vents aren’t going to be doing much anyway.

I can't have a ridge vent system in my garage

I have roof vents......look at the lean to style roof in the pic

That’s what I meant...roof vent not ridge vent. I doubt they are doing much of anything in the summer. You need something to move the air. In an attic application, the roof vent will allow built up air to escape and temps to equalize with the ambient temp. Without an attic/ceiling they aren’t doing anything.

There is an attic space.........There garage has a open ceiling and I use the ceiling joists for storage
