Looking at Teng tool set, Due to a accident i had 3 years ago,I thought i was getting out of the business. i had to sell every tool i had. 4 Snap on chests and 2 Hazet carts worth of tools.
How is the quality Pros and Cons? Other alternatives?

From the research i have done most users are happy with the tools though the ratchets have a really low tooth count compared to most brands these days

I have a 3/8 set from Teng and a dead blow hammer. Also some sparkplug sockets.
Sockets hold up just fine, dead blow also.

I know nothing specific, beyond looking at their website and watching a few YouTube unboxings. I like that their full sets come with organizers that just fit the boxes.

Sonic also seems to be a comparable.

Mostly decent quality Asian made (Taiwan I think) stuff, basically comparable to dozens of other brands out there.
They are big on clever integrated storage solutions, their tools virtually all can be bought with a module that fits their toolboxes.
They are also quite expensive for what you get, in the UK its also pretty widely available, some bigger tool retailers carry some and you will often find a rack of single items in an independent tool shop or a motor factors.

I have this kit as my road side emergency set. It covers everything I’d need to work on my veedub, or my club members veedubs on the side of the road. The wrenches and sockets are nice and I dig the satin finish although it feels like I never get the grease and oil off when wiping them down. The screwdrivers feel kinda a little on cheap side but are strong and haven’t let me down. The pliers are nice and to me look like they were copying Knipex. My only real gripe is the ratchet, I’m not a fan of laminated ratchets and especially ones with plastic in them. But again it hasn’t failed me and is well made.

IMO, they seem like a very well marketed product and by selling more sets they are able to spread out the marketing costs/set. I mean, Edd China and all of the YouTube influencers they send sets to can’t be wrong.

Not bad but not great. For buyers in the US it’s not worth it shipping and quality wasn’t worth it for me at least.

I will give you my opinion soon. Couple days ago I ordered a set of wrenches and a pick set.
