Reached the point where some serious tool organization is in order. Problem is, I don't have any cabinets for storage. I've narrowed it down to two choices:

3x Tennsco Deluxe Cabinets (36x24x78) for $1050 - link here

NewAge Pro 3.0 10 piece set (3 tall cabinets, 3 hanging wall, 3 base cabinets) for $2699 - link here

Tennsco vs NewAge
20-22 gauge steel throughout vs 18-gauge newage
200 lb shelf capacity vs 300 lb
1 year warranty vs lifetime
price is just 3 cabinets vs base & wall cabinets + 3 tall cabinets

There's no doubt the NewAge Pro are way better cabinets, but the price tag has me hesitant on the purchase. My main need is for tall storage cabinets to store auto detail products/equipment, oil/solvents/glue/etc, and large tools that don't fit nicely anywhere else like big hammer drill, router, or angle grinder.

Does anyone have experience with the tennsco deluxe cabinets? How have they held up over time? How sturdy are the shelves?

Tennsco has been around a long time.
Their stuff comes up on auction sites all the time.
Quality varies from office use to shop use.
But it is always a lot less the MSRP.

I would suggest you expand your horizons.

I've got one Tennesco. It's fine for what it is. I bought it along with some file cabinets out of an office that closed. I use it in the shop for consumables. It's a bit deeper than my craftsman cabinets and Lyon cabinets.
