Terminal block for cooktop

Any issues wiring up a 50amp cook top using a terminal block instead of wire nuts? I'm in the middle of redoing the kitchen, slowly in steps, and will probably need to remove the cooktop more than a few times, so am thinking a terminal block would be easier each time to disconnect/reconnect than wire nutting each time?

The link doesn't work for me. Are you talking about the connection where the line supplies the internal wiring harness? If so, that should be in an area well enough protected from heat that anything rated 90C should be fine. Deeper inside the range or cooktop requires higher temperature rated parts.

The connection is made in a j box mounted 6" under the cooktop, inside the cabinet below the cooktop. It's connecting the wires from the main panel to the wire whip coming out of the cooktop.

The terminal block says rated to 63amp and accepts 6awg, max temp is 291F ~143C

Should work 80% of 63 50.3 amps.

What kind of wires are in the whip? The TB you show is rated 221ºF.

For a cooktop? Plugs are not rated for use with the metal flex (greenfield) used for appliance whips.

Never seen one wired with a metal flex cable. I'm not surprised to find out the ones I have seen have not been installed correctly.
