Tesla radiant energy device

I've been doing some research into Tesla's theories regarding radiant energy and it's seeming ability to produce low currents from the EM energy that floats around in the air. Has anyone here ever experimented with such a thing? See

Its a gimmick and fake. Dependents on how you view "Free" Picking up some radio wave and use it to power a low power LED is not that exactly free .....

No better than doing a multi turn wire around a Hot wire before your meter and u get "Free" gimmick electricity as well...
