Test Rite Drill Press

Hey, Group...new member here.
So...I have a (new to me) Test Rite (King Feng Fu) Model 1015 5-speed Drill Press, Mfg in 1983.
My Problem is that I CANNOT get the old chuck off.
There is no Drill Chuck slot in the spindle shaft; I have prodded, pried, tapped, levered, wedged (and add a few choice epithets in there)... all with no luck.
I'm about ready to take a Pickle Fork & a sledge hammer to it.
Is it possible that this thing is reverse-threaded on, instead of a Morse Taper?
Has anyone ever taken one of these off?
(I included a [crappy] pic of the inside of the chuck looking up, if it helps...)

I started tp post something then changed my mind. I thought others might have better suggestions. I do not understand hoe I got "hooked" after I deleted.

Hey, guys...it's all good...I know how useless that pic probably was....I was hoping it might help someone.
Mine is 1/2" (it doesn't look at all like the one RTM linked to...here's a side pic.

If it's a tapered socket (most likely) in the chuck, you'll need chuck wedges. Otherwise, it screws on to the spindle (not as likely).

Those check wedges seem to have a much lower angle of attack than a pickle fork, so some caution may be in order, along w a bunch of penetrating oil.

Does your chuck have a model number? We can search for taper type, maybe

The word "LEAD" enclosed in a box-and-arrow (see the pic from earlier)...followed by "UP" and "1.5-13mm"
Nothing more.
I've ordered a set of Chuck Wedges... we'll see what those do.
