Texaco Star Shed

Spent the day today searching through a hot, dirty storage shed. The owner died 20+ years ago and according to the neighbors had owned a Texaco gas station from the 1940's to the early 80's. So far I've found mechanics hand tools dating from the entire period but nothing really exciting. Much trash and debris had to be moved just to clear an aisle to the back and in the process I uncovered the Texaco and Gas Station artifacts pictured. I thought the windshield wiper display was particularly cool and the other two wall cabinets will probably clean up. Seems like this guy kept an awful lot of wheel bearings on hand. There are dozens of other old Texaco product containers both full and empty as well as hoses oil filters etc.
Going back tomorrow for round two which ought to be fun in 95 degree weather.

That is pretty cool. Let us see more pics of the truck! Are these treasures up fo sale?

I'm going back today for round 2 and will be bringing back hand tools, Texaco branded containers and parts etc. I am keeping a few things but most of it , including the cabinets and wiper cart will be for sale.
The truck is my 1961 Willys 4wd with L226 3 speed, and a Saturn
overdrive. I'll post more pics when I get back today.

Sorry for the too long delay but life intervenes. Don and another friend bought a fair bit of stuff from the first lot but I just cleared the shed and now have another load. I took a few cell phone pics and as soon as I figure out how to post them I'll offer them to the GJ members first.
