Lol right? I just put it there for now, will probably move around once i get back to car building againOh no it’s already full. Lol.
On the sander, is that how you normally have it oriented, disc facing outwards? Mine is set that way and I find I don’t use the belt as often as I’d like.

Thanks, so far I like it, plenty of light but haven't done "real" work in there yetVery nice. How do you like the dark overhead. I tried it and wound up drywalling and painting mine off white for more light.
Floors and cove molding done, few days to harden and start moving in

Can you provide the specifics (brand name, "model", etc) of the epoxy (or what ever) you used.
I don't think I have ever seen a floor covering with that degree of sheen. The reflectivity must be amazing.

Hi Craig, call Tony at Epoxymaster in Troy Michigan, tell him Mark in CA sent you, Ive been very happy with his support. Another option is Scotty at Legacy Industrial, he is on the journal here too. I had already bought from Tony when I stumbled on Scott, but his product for filling the expansion joints works great!!
Thanks Don, we will get together soon, just got trans back in my truck. Still short handed at shop, need a master tech in worst way. That's a great shot of some serious shine.
I could use your help doing the party garage floor.
I found it locally at garage sale, they had 3. Probably some retail thing. I re-skinned them and paint/sign. Do you have pics of yours?Nice counter. Was it originally from a gas station?
In our Texaco, all the front sales cabinets and shelves were wood and painted a slightly darker avocado green.

Thanks Jay!I stumbled onto this thread after following along on your Alemite workbench build. All I can say is wow, what an awesome shop! I hope you enjoy this great space for a long time.
Thank you for posting...
Jay
Thank you and appreciate the tip, a photographer I am not lolBeautiful Garage! I love it!
Even though it's the wrong brand, the outside night shots remind me of the
Ed Hopper art "Gas"
I think if you explore HDR photography you'll be VERY please with your resulting outdoor twilight/night/dawn shots of your garage....you'll be able to get both the subtle sky sunset colors without your well made Texaco sign getting over exposed.
Thanks for sharing with us!
Cool, be sure to post picsCool build. Doing the same with our new build and will take our Esso pump from my old barn to install out front between the garage doors.
Cool, my chassis guy is in oceansidethe Alemite bench is so nice. You're doing a 1st class job on your theme. I'm just down the road in Oceanside.
Thanks so much
