That will look great especially with an island. Sure looks like a lot of work and fabrication ahead for those pumps though.

Slight thread diversion.

I was looking at your awning support posts and recalling the cigarette clips the gas stations had (Circa 50's -60's) on the light posts over the pumps. Since smoking was much more prevalent then, there were clips on the post about 7 feet high that the attendant could put his lit cigarette in to keep it safely out of the gas fumes coming out of the tank. I can't find any, nor even any reference to such on the internet...sure would add some authentic conversation pieces to your set up.

I'm sure Covid will squash it this year, but eventually Halloween will return normally and your gonna need these:

...but I think the bow tie needs to be Texaco red.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Getting toasty out there.

Thanks Shorty, we are a good ways from any fires this year, last year we could see flames. I'm staying busy, ordered an island form and started restoring a pair of Erie gas pumps, also scored a killer coke machine

Your “a little progress”, is quite a lot. Those are turning out great and will set the island off.
