Did manage to get the doors up and trimmed out. It was my wife's idea to trim out the doors with the same fence wood used on the wall siding. I'll stain the plywood panel later with a light pecan stain and paint the cabinet box a dark gray.

I used old wrenches on my workbench, so using them for all my cabinet handles throughout the garage.

I'll be traveling for business the rest of the month - plan to get the next cabinet built in October. Then hopefully November I can start painting all the cabinets and plywood walls.

Hope everyone has a good Labor Day

ps. don't understand why the pics are rotated - this is the only place they show up rotated.

scrolling back through pictures realized I didn't post any with the framed out window. That old fence wood is coming in handy! Used a cedar 2x6 as the sill. and put a shelf above that can be used to display some stuff I have.

Unfortunately due to business travel it wasn’t till Thanksgiving that I got a chance to work in the garage again. But finally got some time and built a cabinet to house the lawn equipment- I call it the broom closet. It’s the cabinet on the right in the picture below. This weekend I was able to paint the cabinets, stain the doors, and finish painting the wall. The west wall is complete!!!
