Two Tranes for the house and a Mitsubishi for the garage keeps me happy at 90+ degrees and sub zero in winter. I previously have had Rheem and York and they were nothin but heart ache for me. Very happy now.

Just curious to know if the euphoria I feel with trane and Mitsubishi is going to wear off soon for all of you that have had experience with these brands..so lets hear your experience with them.
thanks!

It's been hot and humid the last few days, and today it's still only 66 here. I think it's calling for the lower 50's tonight.

I don't know anything about Mrs. Bitchy, but I think you be very well satisfied with Trane. Our old furnace and A.C. was Trane. We upgraded to a more energy efficient a few years back and went with Lennox. We've had nothing but problems with the furnace from day one. I also think the old Trane heated our house better than the fuel efficient Lennox. As far as the Lennox A.C., no real complaints about it.

Just out of curiosity, why did you go with Mitsubishi for the garage instead of a Trane for it also? And do you have ductwork ran throughout the garage. I understand not having the garage and house on one A.C. but just curious about the different brand.

You no say where your at,cowboy,? Texas or Montana ? wouldn't hurt to know, while addressing heat issues, here my answer to the heat issue 14 inch hole in the wall at 14 degrees into 400 sq ft or open the door in the wall and make it 800 sq ft,open the man door this baby still cycles.$1250 turn key, double wide house trailer, 5ton ac and heat self contained unit.

The humidity has been horrible here the last few days. I tried to do some work Saturday at the shop, which has no AC, and lasted about an hour. Decided to head home and work in the garage on a different project so I wouldn't melt.

^oldwizard1,no garage door, now no ac unit, whats next? Declare war !! oops your already won that one, looks like your losing this one.No good deed goes unpunished.Wanna buy a garage door i got a spare, and its made of wood.

You get up go to work, come home,no ac unit,no garage door,no car or truck,no tools,no plumbing, whats next? the wife the kids, the dog? and don't forget,no insurance or not enuff of it,makes a fellar want to move, don't move here we have enuff problems and afraid yours will follow you.

I truly have sympathy for the so called citizens, everybody wants to be a thug, nobody wants to be a citizen,so it seems but the bright side is 22s are on sale at wally world here, send me a cashiers check from Nigeria, and i will ship free shipping.mmm,on second thought you gotta pay me cash.

I was in Houston last week with my son for the USA Volleyball Tournament he played in. The heat and humidity were something I had never experience before. AC is a necessity there for sure!
