I made the decision to go down this path last Fall and I'm glad I did. I do wish I had laid down some pieces of sheet metal down over the really bad dips for when I jack a car up over certain spots in the floor. It's amazing how much deformation these things can take before rupture. Also, cleaning these is so easy as you don't have to worry about whatever you spilled being soaked into the floor like it tends to happen with oil.

At this point, at least 4 different cars have been set on jack stands on this floor and it has been through a winter where there was 6" of snow in the driveway. This floor is a joy to work on. It's also more comfortable to lay on than a concrete floor.

Install was easy and I did it by myself over two non-consecutive days. That was a huge selling point for me!

I also recommend picking a pattern in groups of 4 tiles as that's what they come packaged in. Though, taking tiles apart is pretty easy if you just trust the plastics and engineering that went into them. Bend them outwards and snap them hard. Easy.

Bunch of pictures here. Feel free to use them as you wish, RaceDeck.

Nice looking floor!

Have you considered filling in the rough patches with self leveling concrete? Seems like a quick and easy improvement.

The floor looks great. The only thing I would have suggested is that before putting the Racedeck tiles down perhaps some type of floor repair just to make the concrete a bit more flat would have been in order.

So do you just pressure wash the racedeck flooring? How is rolling around toolboxes & other rolling 'things'? As smooth as smooth concrete?

I have the diamond Racedeck flooring just like the opening poster has and rolling things (floor jack, toolbox, etc) over the floor is not difficult at all.

I have their FreeFlow ribbed version and rolling items is super easy. Which could be surprising for someone who hasn't tried it.

+1 on dubber's post. My FreeFlow is great. No problem rolling a floor jack or my tool box on it. I am very glad I chose it. CJDave.

How are you guys removing water and snow? Is there much penetration between the seems of the RD tiles?

I have a "coin" pattern in one garage, & "diamond plate" in the other. The diamond plate causes a little more vibration rolling things around, but not enough to be a problem. For cleaning I sweep or use a small blower, & when dirty enough I use a cheap steam mop to clean it. Anything that sticks, or would soak into a concrete floor simply dries & can be popped off & swept up.

The biggest problem with a Racedeck style floor is that you like it so much you clean it more often. But that's time in the garage.......right?
