I'm new to the Forum and wanted to share a positive experience. Last week I asked for help modifying my trusses to get additional ceiling height for my lift.
Dakota00 jumped right in and provided detailed instructions to get me started. I've participated on several car forums but have not experienced the level of support found on this site. I appreciate the time and experience Anthony took to help me and wanted others to know...

I didn't expect to see a thread on this... I do appreciate the shout out and I thank you Gregg. I'm always happy to help out when I can. Just like how others have helped me in the past. This what drives these forums and I'm glad to be part of it!!

yep- pay it forward ! Good onya nbd for starting this thread, lot of folks take this sort of thing for granted but anytime someone replies on a forum they are taking time out of their lives to do so. I will second the previous comments- great site. Maybe you (ndb) at some point can have the thrill of helping someone here with their question too ! :rocker:

nbdqgi2 , Welcome to the GJ.. That's what I love about the GJ.. lots of folks willing to help each other out.. and no subject or question is too esoteric or crazy for the thought and contribution of the folks on here.

Of course you'll occasionally get into a heated debate about something controversial... I cannot count the number of times the Sears Craftsman or Made in USA debate pop up.. but every time its interesting and there is at least one nugget of wisdom in the debate. And of course there are the reminders to search the forum for subject matter which often can be a bit of a challenge finding things and the reminders of those with better memories than myself.. Not too much thick skin needed..

I could not find what instructions he provided. I also would like to gain additional height for my lift, would you be willing to share what needs to be done.
