I wanted to say thanks for all of the cool ratchets you show on here as I have a ratchet problem and here is what I have gotten so far in the past month, minus my toptul order. Also I got doubles of all of the new britain stuff as one for me and one for my father for christmas, as he gave me his original NB stuff/Sparta and Husky and p&c and he used them hard and they kept on going (didn't want to show duplicates in the pictures). I have 492$ in all of this not bad for all new stuff off ebay and here about 30 a piece if you divide it up not counting the sockets... To bad I didn't order all the NB stuff together I placed three orders so I payed for shipping 3 times, but not bad either way. Keep it coming before I need help or actually it is to late to get help now for my ratchet problem.... Also the 1/4 zyklop came with 2 free sockets, a 10mm and 13mm. Also my first dual 80:bowdown: Also Merk sorry about the finger prints, I will polish them later to make you happy.

I would not want to get any grease on those Weras, they must be made to assemble space shuttles...

Thanks bull for posting that, they are great for the money and I greased them all up and they work fine.... How can you pass up new old stock for less or the same as imports... The 1/2 flex was a pretty nice, haven't used it yet. I am addicted to the wera and actually like it better than the dual 80, but the handles are to short, then need a new version with longer handles for more leverage.

I think the tool guy in Lake Havasu City sold most of his old ratchet stock to people here. This is definitely the wrong place to be if you have a tool addiction. There's no rehab here, we're all enablers
I'm just not feeling anything for the Wera ratchets. They are definitely different looking but, they also look pretty bulky to me.

Maybe, but I'm not sure. Whenever I got an answer from him/her, it was not very long. But at one point I was told that he had thousands of NB items, and that they weren't going to be selling out anytime soon. Maybe he will be listing more in the future...or maybe we really did deplete the stock, who knows?

Nice looking tools. When I first read your post, I thought you had 492 ratchets. After rereading, I believe you are saying you have $492 is you lastest purchases.

As far as your ratchet problem, don't worry, they haven't quit making them so you will be able to buy more over time. And I'm sure some of the fine folks here will be willing to sell you some used ratchets if all the manufacturers go out of business. I know I have 3 or 4 dozen that could come your way.:bounce:

I personally have a wrench issue, but that's a another thread, soon to be released:pimpflash

I want to see pictures of your wrench issue... I have over 100 ratchets now and probably about 50 snap on and 50 proto/plomb and about 25-35 misc ones. I need to get some help to switch over to extensions and sockets next.

Add these to the mix...

I love those pics, I think we've seen them before but who gets tired of looking at fine art? Is that your working box or collecting box? Some of those puppies are packed so tight, it would be hard to get to them and even harder to get them back in place. Impressive looking none the less.

My wrench issue is not as far along as your ratchet collection, but I've only been doing it a year. My real weakness is round handled wrenches, and they don't pop up everyday.

The third picture up on the right bottom is a round snap on I found on the street, 6 point offset I think it is used for break bleeders or something like that. I use what is in the top box and ratchet drawer with the snap on stuff , the other drawer with odd 3/8 and 1/4 I just use to collect, but can use them if I need to or want to. I am just a weekend wrencher. I think I have been working on this for a couple of years. I wish I had these tools a few years ago when I was really working on things and fixing a free car I got, but I was able to use what I had and they worked most of the time. By the way all of the Crafty raise handled stuff when into a bag for a portable tool kit-wrenches and ratchets and some older cheap wood handled screwdrivers and a cheap HF bit set. Trying to make room for the better tools and put the cheap stuff in a bag that I don't care if I lose or break, even though I will still take care of them.

Yes please!:lol_hitti

I want to see also:shocking:

Boards are from a bathroom cabinet neighbor was throwing out. Magnet bars are from a pawn shop, guy said they were from a Snap-On tool truck that went out of business. Will have too do for now, hope to improve on it someday. A few duplicate ratchets, some that appear similar actually have minor variations. I think the count is actually 103, but 3 of the flat handled Plombs on third row I think are 9/32nds drive. One of the old Williams appears to be a 9/32nds drive that was filed down to 1/4" drive. I think all are Made In U.S.A., except for 1 of the Mac's (Taiwan made "Micro-Tough"??).

Enjoy the 1/4" drives (a few didn't make the pic, would have to do more digging):
