originally searching for information on this POWR-KRAFT 3/4 inch drive 22 piece socket set that I bought at the flea market yesterday for my shop. I paid $45.00 for it. I haven't cleaned it up yet. I see that it was sold by montgomery ward. What was the original price? and what is it worth now?

Welcome, Curt. If you could, please update your profile to include a brief location. We're international, and some responses may vary based on your location.

Your Powr Kraft socket set for $45 was a good deal. Wards had several companies make their tools, the socket pictured has a part # beginning 84W. If memory serves, it was made in Ohio by Wright Tool & Forge. Good stuff.

Again, welcome

Dude they'll let anyone in here, so I'm not so sure about thanking anyone :dunno: :bounce:

As far as that kit, looks to me like it's worth $45.00 :spit:

But like EP pointed out that sure looks like a Williams set. Those are fantastic tools if it is and you might get lucky if it's complete to off it for a couple hundy to the right guy in the right day. But if you wanted to do a quick flip, a hundy will make it disappear pretty quick.
