Just wanted to say thanks to all of you out here in the forums. Even though I am not a frequent poster, I sure have learned a lot since I stumbled in here.

Three weeks ago I was surfing the GJ Classified site and stumbled on a used Mohawk USL-6000 Scissor Lift. Made contact with the seller and negotiated a very fair price for the item. Last week, I took a 1400 mile round trip to Chicago and picked up my new lift.

Got it home using my Ranger FX4 and my 5X10 utility trailer. Now it is home in my shop and after a good cleaning it is up and functioning. I have an order in process with Mohawk to replace a missing air valve that controls the locks and also purchased replacement lift pads and adapters that were missing. Taking the lift arms out today to get powdercoated safety yellow.

I have included a picture of the lift and a picture of my 1939 Ford chassis up on the lift. I still need to make a couple of ramps so I can get my Mustang up high enough to clear the lift arms.

Thanks again.

Great find. I've decided I'm never getting a two post lift because I don't want to give up the space flexibilty, and I'm never going to spring for a full in-ground. This is a terrific solution and I wish I could find one. Good get.
